Anxiety Neurosis
Definition
Feeling of alarm or “worry” or impending doom. It may be specific or non-specific in nature. A certain normal forms help to improve performance and allows people to avoid dangerous situations. This normally lasts for a short period causing no impairment in social or occupational functioning. When this anxiety is prolonged and affects social life and performance at work, it may be considered abnormal and called anxiety “disorder”.
Symptoms of Anxiety Neurosis
